Kaitlyn Richert is an NYC-based lead designer & art director.
When she was younger, Kaitlyn spent her free time tearing out pages of Seventeen and Entertainment Weekly to make collages. She also loved creating page layouts and graphics on Xanga.com (IYKYK) to express herself. It’s no surprise that she always knew she wanted to be a designer.
Kaitlyn began her career with internships at National Geographic and Hearst Magazines. She spent the next few years honing her creative skillset at beauty brands Moroccanoil and BECCA Cosmetics, finding a new love for digital marketing design. That work eventually brought her in-house at Grubhub and Seamless, where she was an integral part of the creative studio, leading the design team by the end of her tenure. Kaitlyn currently works on the creative studio team at Lyft.
Kaitlyn has 10+ years of experience working in-house, and she’s known for her colorful, bold and refined style. She thrives on collaboration, pushing on creative strategy, and mentoring other designers.
When she’s not creating, Kaitlyn is probably training for her next marathon, seeing live music, or hanging with her cat, Leo. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh and is an alumna of Ohio University, where she studied Visual Communications and Journalism. Kaitlyn currently resides in Brooklyn.
